State Farm and Chivas USA have partnered to give away 600 turkeys to local families at a special Thanksgiving event this Sunday, Nov. 22 in Pico Rivera. The event begins at 12:00 noon PT and will feature Chivas USA players, on-air personalities from Super Estrella 107.1, and representatives from State Farm. The Thanksgiving food will be presented to families in need at the Plaza de la Raza location in Pico Rivera.

Chivas USA players Justin Braun, Michael Lahoud and Gerson Mayén will be present at the event, and will help give away the turkeys to families. In addition to food, Chivas USA, State Farm and Super Estrella will be holding raffle drawings every half hour for Chivas USA merchandise starting at 1:30 p.m. PT and continuing until all 600 turkeys are given away. Super Estrella will have a radio DJ and fan tent set up with prizes and giveaways.

The Thanksgiving turkeys will be given away on a first come, first served basis with registration beginning at 12:00 p.m. PT in the parking lot of Plaza de la Raza's Pico Rivera location. For more information, please contact Plaza de la Raza at 562-776-1301.
