Alexandra Bailey in action against LCC's Amiee Beauchane

Alexandra Bailey was a shoe-in for Avocado League’s Player of the Year honors. The Torrey Pines HS sophomore blew past the competition with her ball skills, speed and all-around aesthetic athleticism.

Bailey found her way to the net 18 times this season, while dishing out six assists. All of which were good for 42 points for Torrey Pines, the Avocado League champions.

The Olympic Development Program also recognizes Bailey for her outstanding ability. She is continually selected to her age group’s player pool. Also among Bailey’s accomplishments, are various Surf accolades such as the reigning Surf Cup champs and most recently a coveted National League title.

Bailey is as fun to watch as talented and will be a mainstay in San Diego soccer for years to come.
